This recipe is courtesy of my running buddy, Andrea, who came over Saturday after her first 18 mile run (my 8 miler) to make these. There’s nothing like somebody else making you breakfast (#spoiled)! These waffles are so simple, and you will most likely have all of these ingredients already in your pantry. If you don’t have a waffle iron, this recipe can also be used to make pancakes. 3 Ingredient Waffle
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 egg white
Splash of almond milk (Optional. Add if mixture is too dry.)
Toppings (fresh fruit, honey, maple syrup, almond butter, NuttZo, etc.)
- Heat waffle iron.
- Place all ingredients (oats, banana, eggs) in a blender. Blend until combined.
- Pour over hot waffle iron.
- Cook for 3 minutes.
- Remove from waffle iron, top with fresh strawberries, bananas, honey and NuttZo.
