I feel like I’m always craving a chocolate shake.  And when I have access to my own blender, that’s not always a bad thing!  Making a healthy chocolate shake is easy with a few naturally light ingredients, such as almond milk, unsweetened cocoa powder and vanilla protein powder.  Add in some frozen bananas for that “Wendy’s Frosty” consistency, and a tablespoon or two of peanut butter for good measure flavor.

Chunky Monkey Shake
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS:
3 medium bananas, frozen
1 1/2 cups almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 Tbsp. crunchy peanut butter
1 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
DIRECTIONS

  1. Place everything in a blender and blend until you reach a nice and smooth consistency.
