I made this smoothie a while ago, but just came across the recipe I saved on my digital sticky notes.  I keep doing that–making things and forgetting what goes into them.  Call it pathetic or just resourceful, sometimes I even have to google my own blog for recipes!  Now let it be known, this smoothie has been officially documented.  Mango and pear (especially kombucha pear) might sound weird, but it was a refreshing and unique flavor combination that actually worked.  So the next time I end up with a pear kombucha, I’ll have to remind myself to search for this recipe 😉

Mango  & Pear Kombucha Smoothie
Makes one 32oz post-workout protein smoothie
INGREDIENTS:
1 bottle asian pear kombucha
1 cup frozen mango
1/2 frozen banana
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Place everything in a blender and blend until you reach a nice and smooth consistency.
